Montessori School for 15 Months-8th Grade
At St. Stephen’s, we nurture imagination, curiosity, confidence, and a true sense of belonging. We combine Montessori and Episcopal values, encouraging children to grow into independent learners and compassionate leaders.
For children 15 months to 3 years
This program encourages independence, language, and confidence in a calm and caring environment.
At St. Stephen’s Episcopal School Houston, we nurture confident, compassionate and curious learners through authentic Montessori education. We believe that igniting a love of learning is the starting point for a lifetime of discovery and purpose.
From toddlerhood through adolescence, we follow the child’s natural development with hands-on materials, freedom within structure, and respectful guidance.
We go beyond the basics. Our classrooms integrate math, language, science, art, and culture through Montessori methods that build focus, independence, and a love of learning.
We care for the child as a whole by nurturing not only academic excellence, but also their physical, spiritual and social-emotional wellbeing.
